The band formed when banjoist Dave Keenan was asked by Laurie Lewis to take over her Bluegrass in the Gorge camp and he didn’t have to look very far to find his team of instructors – across the street is tremendous singer and guitar picker Hailey Pexton and powerhouse vocalist and mandolinist Ethan Lawton. At the end of the street is excellent singer and bassist Forrest Marowitz and, in a parallel universe is ’that fiddler’ Darol Anger from The Grisman Quintet and Mr. Sun etc. Expect extraordinary singing and an easy commute with “The Same Street Band.”
